At the same time, Asterix and Obelix are in Gaul trying to make a man of Justforkix, Chief Vitalstatistix's nuisance of a nephew. When Anticlimax arrives there, the villagers give him a batch of their magic potion. Asterix and Obelix accompany Anticlimax on his journey home and bring Justforkix along, hoping to make a man of him. In Londinium, Justforkix falls for the beautiful Ophelia, who happens to be Anticlimax’s fiancée, while Obelix falls for her teacher, the rigid Miss Macintosh. Distracted by their crushes, they misplace the cask that holds the magic potion.---50 B.C. Caesar is thirsty for conquest. At the head of his glorious legions, he decides to invade this island located on the edge of the known world, this mysterious country called Britannia, or Britain. The victory is swift and total. Well... almost. A small British village manages to resist him, but its strength is fading. Cordelia, Queen of the Britons, therefore decides to send her most loyal officer, Anticlimax, to seek help in Gaul, from another small village known for its stubborn resistance to the Romans. In the Gallic village in question, Asterix and Obelix are already very busy. The chief has indeed entrusted them with his nephew Justforkix, a young brat fresh from Lutetia, whom they are supposed to turn into a man. And that is far from being won. When Anticlimax arrives to ask for help, it is decided to entrust him with a barrel of magic potion and have him escorted by Asterix and Obelix, as well as Justforkix, as this journey seems like an excellent opportunity to complete his education.
