What this meeting on paper between the best emissary of French chanson and the fine producer/arranger that is Parish promises is perfectly confirmed on record. Finding themselves on the same ground of warm simplicity, the two actors seal a pact, that of an immediacy necessarily preserved. The rest is a matter of compositions, very varied, and of a reconquest of singing as a precision tool. Monsieur Ané claims to have rediscovered the virtues of his voice on the memorable "Bagatelle" that graces Tiersen's *L'Absente*. One will easily believe him upon listening to the monumental "Pour la peau" or an opening "Antonia," with its Hispanic accents, a sign of a thaw that will lead its creator to subsequently frequent more traditional forms of composition ("Ses yeux brûlent," "Je t'ai toujours aimée")... Without his intimate capital or the precision mechanics revealed at the end of the disc ever being sold off. With an even sharper lexical precision, *Auguri* sounds like the reconciliation of the various talents of the capital A.
--Fabrice Privé

UPC: 724381104729

EAN: 0766487250948

Languages: French

Binding: Audio CD

Item Condition: New
