The public's reaction was so enthusiastic that the song, initially only performed in concert, was included on Blanc, even though it did not appear on the first version of the album. "Que je t'aime" is the only track on the disc not written by the singer-songwriter. Cossette reveals the full power and flexibility of his voice on it.
A nod to the famous untitled album by the Beatles, Cossette's favorite band, Blanc takes us on a journey between ballads for dancing with your eyes closed ("Reste si tu veux," "Rendez-vous") and upbeat rockers ("Demain et le Lendemain," "Déménage"). The singer skillfully uses his beautiful countertenor voice—as he defines it—accompanied by guitars, drums, keyboards, and even a string quartet ("Si j'me rappelle"). Sometimes a bit syrupy, his songs never fall into the trap of prefabricated pop, and his melodies are always surprising. --Isabelle Grégoire

UPC: 064027071627

EAN: 0064027071627

Languages: French

Binding: Audio CD

Item Condition: UsedVeryGood

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0030/9765/7390/products/51W5IxWJhqL_b5164175-fca4-4c6f-bbe2-daea59d227e6.jpg?v=1634090943
