koriass-love-supreme-lp
Koriass / Love Suprême - Vinyl LP

“Love is all you need.” Never heard nor spoken throughout the 47 minutes of the LP, Lennon’s immortal phrase nonetheless seems to stand as a dogma here. Love is... All you need. A doctrinal phrase, an obsession stretched to its absolutely narcissistic conception. From one end of the opus to the other, it is this love—self-love—that is in question with Love Suprême, the coveted fourth album from Koriass. And the tone used to evoke it is corrosive.

As serious as it is amused, sometimes supported by the words and voices of friends Lary — “Jolies filles” — and Loud — “Pardon” —, and those of the talented Sabrina Halde of Groenland as well — “Love Suprême” —, the rapper delivers 12 solid and dense original tracks.
