With the album "Gisèle", Caféïne transports his fans into a world of dark, biting, and politicized humor. Produced and mixed by Glen Robinson and Xavier Caféïne, with some additional mixing by Gus Van Go, the album is a succession of songs with lyrics and a sound that reflect Xavier: unique and scathing. In addition to singing and playing all the instruments on the album, he surrounded himself with a few special collaborators, Michel "Away" Langevin on drums, and vocals from the McGarrigle sisters—a cocktail of talent. Poetic and eccentric, this new album marks the long-awaited return of Caféïne.
