Details: Morency Live is the third solo show by Quebec comedian François Morency. Presented as stand-up, the show covers the judicial system, insurance, American supremacy, alcohol, world history, the school system, cartoons, and babies. One of the sketches calls upon the creativity of the audience: spectators are invited to write an unusual sentence. François Morency tells the story of Little Red Riding Hood using the sentences written by the audience as lines of dialogue. By targeting the unusual elements of current events and everyday life, François Morency connects with the audience, leaning into pastiche rather than parody, without any malice.
