Although the end was near, the quintet, now a quartet following the departure of Chantal Francke, remained in full possession of its powers. As can be seen in The DVD: 1994-95, they refined their art by focusing on parodies. In the fiercely mean yet terribly funny category, you must (re)see figure skater Josée Chouinard advertising "Prêt Pusse" shampoo between falls, or Jean-Marc Parent promoting "Clearabil," an acne product. Just as successful are the parody of the news program Pulse ("Repulse"), the parody of the All Bran cereal commercial ("All Brun"), the songs by Les Feux sauvages ("Québécois," "Suzie Robidoux"), and the alien Stromgol's visit to Raël. The DVD: 1994-95 is not limited to these two hours of highlights. It includes over 40 minutes of additional funny scenes, all of RBO's music videos (from "Ça rend rap" to "Bonjour la police"), as well as interviews with the group members. This final year of the quartet on television had only moderate success. However, it proves to be just as entertaining as the others. This is the perfect opportunity to rediscover it. --Nicolas Houle
