Kate dreams of designing clothes for major fashion houses, but despite her talent, she cannot find a job. No one trusts the daughter of Lee Kassell, a retail guru who sells clothes "inspired" by the designers Kate wants to work with. Reluctantly, Kate joins the family business, where she must deal with her stepmother and her two wicked stepsisters. With the help of a shoe designer who will become her Prince Charming, her fairy godmother's vintage clothes, and a drastic change of identity, will Kate succeed in exposing the wicked trio and saving her father's company?
