The "blue hour" evokes here the hope of resilience for a couple facing the irreparable, caught in a turmoil that will completely alter the course of their existence. Anne-Sophie (Céline Bonnier) chooses to change her life completely. Everything shatters: where she lives, her financial situation, her love and sex life, her work, her lifestyle—EVERYTHING. Who hasn't dreamed, for a few moments, of leaving it all behind to start from scratch, elsewhere, differently? For Anne-Sophie, this fantasy becomes a necessity. Bernard (Benoît Gouin), for his part, chooses the opposite: he will hold down the fort and try to maintain his balance, his routine. He has a house, a flourishing business, a 16-year-old teenager, and a thousand responsibilities. When things get tough, you clench your fists and face it. But there is a heavy price to pay. You risk becoming hardened beyond measure.
