Details: Les disques de la cordonnerie is proud to present Alexis Normand, the second self-titled album from the Saskatchewan singer, produced by Marc Pérusse (Serge Fiori, Luc De Larochellière) and featuring 11 jazz-tinged folk songs that highlight the artist's warm, velvety voice. Alexis Normand wrote all the music and collaborated with authors Daniel Beaumont (Louis-Jean Cormier), Mathieu Lippé, and Mélanie Noël on several tracks. Of note: "Sing Me Home," a song carried by the prairie winds and performed with Manitoba native Daniel Lavoie. The singer-songwriter will soon be hitting the road to bring her new songs to life. In a show featuring multi-instrumentalist Marc Papillon (Eli et Papillon) and directed by Gaële, she intends to both introduce herself to the Quebec public and reconnect with her fans out West.
