Details: After an impressive career as an actor in theater and cinema, Serge Reggiani only came to singing late, in 1963. His talent as an interpreter and his choice of great songwriters (Boris Vian, Georges Moustaki, Jean-Loup Dabadie, Maxime Le Forestier…) would give him a prominent place among the great voices of French chanson. A sensitive and committed singer, he was highly appreciated by the post-1968 generation, with tracks such as Le déserteur, Ma liberté, Les loups sont entrés dans Paris... His career continued with great popular success between theater, cinema, and above all singing, to which he dedicated himself actively until the end of his life. His passing ten years ago is being commemorated today, coinciding with the release of Isabelle Boulay's tribute album Merci Reggiani, with a special edition of the double CD AUTOUR DE SERGE REGGIANI. Produced by Didier Varrod in 2002, this double album brought together 15 songs revisited by 15 artists (Renaud, Maxime Le Forestier, Jane Birkin, Bernard Lavilliers….) and the deeply moving Le temps qui reste by Serge Reggiani. In addition to the revisited versions, this new edition is enriched with the original versions performed by Serge Reggiani. A face-off as moving as it is relevant!
