Details: Amazon.ca A landmark in the history of sci-fi cinema: by transposing certain aspects of 1940s American noir into a futuristic vision of society, Ridley Scott created perhaps his most accomplished film, both visually and dramatically. With the help of a top-tier collaborator, Vangelis, a master of electronic music, whose score is also a glimpse into the future. With or without the visuals of Harrison Ford hunting down fugitive replicants in 2019 Los Angeles, the composer's musical reflection remains coherent: since his solo debut, expressing the future has remained one of his constants. In this respect, Blade Runner is as much a soundtrack as it is a Vangelis album in its own right. --Stéphane Lerouge Product Description Vangelis
