To create "Jazz engagé", a 21-track album produced by Emmanuel Ethier, Chocolat set themselves the challenge of recording in five different studios, each with a different co-producer. With this album, Chocolat presents their own (rock) version of a mixtape, drawing on countless musical references ranging from Dave Brubeck to Pierre Harel, from Serge Fiori to their friends in Corridor, as well as Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, and Pat Benatar, all without ever veering from the signature sound that has defined them since "Tss Tss" and "Rencontrer Looloo".
