Details: Amazon.ca A perfect mix of country, rock, and French chanson, Ç'pas grave stands out for the quality of its melodies and music, which are always catchy. A debut album packed with hits for Les Frères à Ch'val, formed by the duo Polo and Thibaud de Corta along with three other accomplices, including Mara Tremblay. "L'Été," a summer anthem for the city, became a classic; "Ma belle Barbie," with its hypnotic violin lines, foreshadowed Mara Tremblay's solo career, while "Le Génie dans la bouteille," which combines an epic story with intricate arrangements, serves as a model for several of the group's songs. Adding to these tracks are interesting covers, notably "Intoxicated Man" by Gainsbourg and "Cauchemar," popularized by Charlebois. In all, Ç'pas grave features 15 songs, all excuses for a party, which charm as much through their fresh interpretation as through their content, polished without being labored. --Nicolas Houle Product description (15 tr.)
