Details: Amazon.ca For some time, Kiss had been diversifying, pushing the experiment to its extreme on Music From The Elder, a concept album with sophisticated arrangements that put off their fans. Creatures Of The Night therefore set the record straight, allowing Kiss to reaffirm that they were indeed one of the greatest hard rock bands—and incidentally the most spectacular. However, behind these anthology tracks, a revolution was brewing: guitarist Ace Frehley, plagued by serious alcohol problems, would soon officially give way to Vinnie Vincent and, even more seriously, Kiss would drop the makeup that had contributed so much to their success on Lick It Up. From then on, Kiss would never be the same again (at least until 1999, with the return of Ace Frehley, drummer Peter Criss... and the makeup!). Creatures Of The Night undeniably marks the end of an era. Considering the quality of its tracks, it is therefore doubly brilliant. --Hervé SK Guégano Product Description Kiss
