The future America is an irradiated wasteland. On its East Coast lies Mega City One - a vast violent metropolis where criminals rule the chaotic streets. The only force of order lies with the urban cops called "Judges" who possess the combined powers of judge jury and instant executioner. The ultimate Judge Dredd (Karl Urban) is tasked with ridding the city of its latest scourge -a dangerous drug and the sadistic prostitute turned drug pusher who is using it to take over the city. ------------------------ In the near future, the United States is nothing more than a vast irradiated wasteland. Mega City One is a sprawling metropolis plagued by vice. The only remaining form of authority is represented by the Judges, an urban police force that combines all functions: cop, judge, and executioner. A new drug is spreading, Slo-Mo, which allows reality to be perceived in slow motion. Its distribution is controlled by Ma-Ma, a former prostitute who has become a drug lord. Dredd, the ultimate judge, is assigned a mission in Ma-Ma's tower and will have to confront her.
