Winner of the Francouvertes in 2015, and with experience gained on the road through over 300 shows, Élixir de Gumbo is far from running out of gas! Back with their very first record under the Abitibi-based label 117 Records, the band presents an album full of contrasts that they wear with confidence. A tasty blend of orchestral folk—which we caught a glimpse of on their first release—and the "pedal to the metal" bluegrass that made them stand out in every corner of the province and in Europe, Le beau piège is as moving as it is surprising, and sure to get your feet tapping.
