Fanny Bloom clearly had fun with her former partners from La Patère Rose, Thomas Hébert and Julien Harbec, both now in Valaire. The electropop of "Liqueur" is nothing but light, joy, and happiness, despite lyrics that are darker and deeper than the music might suggest. These also take us on a journey into nature, amidst storms, fireflies, ponds, and eternal stars. With its off-beats, percussion that transports us southward, and trendy vocal effects, the summery "On s'aimera" rivals the effectiveness of current pop hits. As for "Lily," it reaffirms the artist's talent for haunting piano-vocal pieces. A refreshing and deliciously intoxicating album.
