Izzy-S is an artist with a melodic flow and lyrics that are both "street" and thoughtful. Originally from Haiti, he grew up in Montreal in the Saint-Michel neighborhood. His home neighborhood is his source of inspiration. His writing has earned him the role of spokesperson for the youth of his community. By the age of 15, he had already made a name for himself with the track DopeBoy. Despite his young age, he is already considered a staple in the French rap scene in Quebec. He has received validation from big names like Youssoufa, Gradur, and Gato da Bato, and was recently invited to the first Quebec edition of Rentre dans le Cercle (Le Cercle) hosted by Sofiane.
A tireless worker, Izzy-S never takes a break, to the great delight of his fans. Since 2014, his fans have relentlessly followed the "Dopeboy parts 1, 2, 3, and 4" chapters, where you can find Gradur making a cameo in the 4th part. In March 2017, he released Bando, Vol. 1, which was a huge success with tracks like "Ma mélodie" and "La rue." Shortly before Christmas 2017, Izzy-S surprised his fans with L.M.O.L.M. (La mort ou la musique), a 17-song opus that allows listeners to get a more personal perspective of the artist, as several events in his life contributed to the writing of this project. Among others, an attempted murder, where he was shot 4 times in May 2017 (Journal de Montréal). After his recovery, he demonstrated his strength of character and all the positivity he generates through his music with the classic "Grandi dans la rue" (YouTube)
