Details: Olivia Ruiz is back! This new record, her fourth, is truly her own. It is the one she envisioned, the one she dreamed of, the one she worked on—writing and composing it alone throughout these past months, alternating between ups and downs, day and night, black, white, and colors, the alternative and the continuous. Between calm and storms. "Le calme et la tempête" (The Calm and the Storm), an obvious choice, therefore. With both depth in her words and depth in her sounds, she has never given this impression of digging so deep within herself to find the source of her songs. She settled between Paris and Los Angeles to co-produce the entire project alongside Tony Berg (former A&R director at Geffen Records). A new sound is born from this encounter between two continents, two generations, and two cultures. Discover it in "Le calme et la tempête".
