Details: Geneviève Racette is a young singer-songwriter who first made a name for herself with a digital EP released in May 2014. • Her songs "Bricolage" and "Multicolore" quickly went into heavy rotation on SiriusXM and remained there for several months. • Her song "Maison d’oiseaux" reached the top 5 on the ICI Musique folk chart in the spring of 2015. • In April 2015, she was nominated for a Toronto Indie Award in the SiriusXM Emerging Artist of the Year (French) category. • She was the opening act for Damien Robitaille at the 2015 FrancoFolies. She now presents a full 9-track album, including, among others, a re-recording of the song "Maison d’oiseaux" which saw success on ICI Musique. Her cozy folk music comforts us and makes us smile, even during more difficult times. On this album, Geneviève moves us with her unique voice, accompanying her music and lyrics with arrangements that invite us into a world that is both gentle and ethereal.
