Release Date: 07-12-1999

Details: After three studio albums, Sinclair decided to leave behind the sanitized studio concept and work without a safety net. The concert on November 26, 1998, where he took the Zénith de Paris stage by storm with a brass and string section, gave him the opportunity to deliver a brilliant demonstration of his talent and verify the unwavering loyalty of his audience. Having already proven in 1997 that he held the funky secret of La Bonne Attitude, this uninhibited son of James Brown, too quickly pigeonholed in the pop/soul section, deploys energy and spontaneity equal to his penchant for risk. A kamikaze multi-instrumentalist, he reviews almost his entire third album, the aptly named La Bonne Attitude, under the energizing protection of Stevie Wonder, George Clinton, and Prince. And this breathtaking concert from the French Superfly, summarized in thirteen songs, pulses with an irresistible groove. Look out, it's hot! --Sabrina Silamo
