Hailing from Trois-Rivières and the Lower St. Lawrence, the 5 guys who make up the band Longue Distance are music enthusiasts. Most of them studied the field and have been playing an instrument since early childhood. Longue Distance stands out as much for its pure, electrifying rock as for its folk leanings and intense, catchy lyrics. Their first single, "Abitibi," was played on a large number of radio stations across the province, even earning a spot on several charts.
