Details: Anne and Bob (Oscar nominees Toni Collette and Harvey Keitel), a wealthy American couple who have recently moved to Paris, are preparing to host a grand dinner, inviting twelve hand-picked guests from the upper echelons of high society. But when Anne realizes there is a thirteenth place setting, she panics. She asks Maria, her maid, to pose as a wealthy Spanish friend. Maria finds herself sitting next to David, a member of the British aristocracy. So, when he falls for Maria and contacts her the next day, revealing her true identity becomes impossible. A romance begins that threatens both Anne’s elitist values and her marriage—unless Anne can manage to quash it.
