Brand: Universal

Release Date: 16-10-2007

Details: 2007 release from the critic's darling Kenna, the eldest son of an immigrant Ethiopian family who had a life-changing experience when he discovered U2. He resolved to make his own music that was equally powerful and poetic. Landing in Virginia Beach, he connected with the area's most creative residents, The Neptunes, to craft music that would eventually lead to Make Sure They See My Face. AP cheers that he's part Stevie Wonder, part Radiohead, part Ric Ocasek, while Entertainment Weekly calls Kenna a savvy, idiosyncratic artist who could help redeem radio. Interscope.
