Their latest mission: to save the world from a total intergalactic disaster! When a renegade Kylothian monster disguised as a lingerie model threatens the survival of the human race, the boys of the MIB get the call to step up and get busy. With their headquarters under siege and time running out, Agents Kay and Jay enlist the help of Frank the Pug and a posse of hard-living worms to help them kick some seriously sexy alien butt! Amazon.ca They are finally back. Special agents J and K, the dynamic duo of the Men in Black, an ultra-secret organization tasked with regulating extraterrestrial activity on Earth, are reunited for a second installment of the Men in Black adventures, under the direction of filmmaker Barry Sonnenfeld. A few years have passed since K (Tommy Lee Jones) was sent into retirement via "neuralyzer" at the end of the first episode. When a vile enemy, disguised as a lingerie model, sets Earth on fire to recover an infinite power source, the Light, J must call his former partner to the rescue. Populated by endearing alien critters and faithful to the spirit that made the first installment a success, Men in Black II continues to spark humor and energy from the partnership of its two heroes: Tommy Lee Jones as the impassive sage and Will Smith as the reckless rookie. Despite some predictable elements and a rather superficial female character (which makes one miss the one played by Linda Fiorentino in the first film), the tandem proves to be a true strength in this film, further spiced up by tasty cameo appearances from headliners like Michael Jackson and Martha Stewart. --Helen Faradji
