Details: Amazon.ca The bulk of Nine Inch Nails and Trent Reznor's work was behind him when he embarked on the tour in question here in 2000. One remembers above all the album The Downward Spiral and his contribution to the soundtrack for the David Lynch film, Lost Highway. That said, the persona has lost none of his impressive stature, his furiously dark side, and his theatrical flair. One can better measure here how he managed to renew industrial music, while respecting a relatively traditional rock format. His desperate songs are the counterpart to those of Ministry and other Skinny Puppy of the past. Presented by their leader himself, who provides the liner notes, this double DVD, in addition to a live performance with terrifying sound, is supplemented by photos as well as an interview with the director of the production. --Hervé Comte
