Details: Product description Roberto Alagna ~ Roberto Alagna - Opera Arias Amazon.ca With its varied and pleasant repertoire, this disc is a must for discovering one of the greatest singers of our time, the golden-voiced tenor Roberto Alagna. A few months ago, he stated the following about this recital in the magazine Classica: "It's an interesting disc, which many people were waiting for. It took time before I agreed to record a first recital. The selection is interesting because it alternates between well-known and lesser-known works: it's a sort of calling card for my character and temperament. The sound isn't quite brilliant yet, because I have a voice that is very difficult to capture on a microphone... Perhaps there are sometimes some slightly unbalanced shifts in dynamics, but it's my first disc, and I find it moving" --Pierre Massé
