Details: Amazon.ca A few months after finding themselves sitting side by side at a play, two men, Benigno and Marco, meet again at a private clinic where Benigno works. A young female bullfighter, Lydia, Marco's girlfriend, has been gored by a bull and has fallen into a coma. Benigno, for his part, is caring for another woman in a coma, Alicia, a young dancer. Time held within the walls of this clinic will lead the four characters in unexpected directions... Talk to Her is a story of friendship and love, of loneliness and affection. The actors are excellent, the dialogues brilliant, and the cinematography particularly polished, as is often the case with Almodóvar who, interestingly, had originally written the silent black-and-white sequence to be a feature film. You can therefore purchase this moving DVD with your eyes closed, yet another success in the track record of the extravagant Spaniard. --David Rault!
