Details: For the release of their eleventh album, Que du vent, Les Cowboys Fringants will once again create an event. The Cowboys present an album of 11 new songs. An album that rocks. Musically, the Cowboys have once again surpassed themselves and reinvented their sound. They offer a more rock, more electric, and ever more festive sound here. The voice of singer Karl Tremblay, more controlled and nuanced than ever, perfectly serves Jean-François Pauzé’s lyrics, which are supported by a solid rhythm section led by bassist Jérôme Dupras, and by meticulous and inventive melodic arrangements crafted by talented multi-instrumentalist Marie-Annick Lépine and each of the Cowboys. Que du vent is also an album that waltzes joyfully between social commentary, love songs (about heartbreak), character stories, amusing nods... with a dash of self-deprecation along the way!
