Robots After All
Author: Katerine
Release Date: 13-10-2005
Details: 2005 album from the French singer and actor who defies gender stereotypes in his art by the very nature of his stage name, which is feminine. The album title is a wry tip-of-the-hat reference to Daft Punk's "Human After All". Katerine embarks on a fresh musical direction in the wake of his separation from the Recyclers. This is very much a solo album that he composed alone in his studio with just a beat box and his keyboards. The sound is stark and minimalistic. The project was co-produced by Renaud Letang and Canadian producer Gonzales, who infused the recordings with an electro feel that reassesses Katerine's image.
