After two triumphant tours (150,000 spectators in Quebec, New Brunswick and Ontario) and two best-selling albums (Star Académie 2012 and Star Académie Noël), the grand winner of Star Académie 2012, Jean-Marc Couture, is finally releasing his first solo album! A host of the greatest artists from here and France have contributed to this first opus. Artistic director Stéphane Laporte reflects on the all-star team that worked on it: "This raw talent inspired Daniel Bélanger, who invented a funky blues for Jean-Marc like nothing we had ever heard before. Biz and Chafiik, two of the three members of Loco Locass, wrote the alpha male anthem for him. Hitmaker Marc Dupré is working with the former academician again, this time as a songwriter. Michel Pagliaro and Éric Lapointe, the two indomitable rockers, each collaborate on a song for the album, while Grégoire adds his songwriting talent to Jean-Marc’s own talents as a musician and performer." Produced by Tino Izzo, this first album from Jean-Marc offers rock with blues and pop accents; accents that made Jean-Marc a success and earned him victory at Star Académie 2012, voted for by the public!
