Details: Product Description 2003 Studio Album from Great French Rapper. Gyneco was Awarded with the Prestigious Victoires De La Musique in 2003. Amazon.ca A zest of tenderness in a brutal world. This could describe the third baby from Doc Gynéco, who delivers a surprising album here. Still as direct and provocative as ever, the artist who managed to give new momentum to French rap by introducing melodic flows and groove instrumentation is now working to bring forth more sustained rhythms of soul, reggae, zouk, and funk. True to form, Doc doesn't hesitate to be incisive, especially when addressing the prostitution of Eastern European girls, dormitory towns, the third world, war, television, and current events, all over rhythms that sometimes recall those of Parliament and Funkadelic. Introspective and offbeat, this Solitaire has more than one hit in his digital grooves. --Valérie Dupouy
