Details: What was the great turning point in Francis Cabrel’s musical life, the event that set him on the road to becoming the artist we know today? In 1967, aged barely fifteen, he heard Bob Dylan’s Like a Rolling Stone for the first time. Ever since, the American singer’s work has constantly intertwined with his own—an inspirational shadow that is always impressive, sometimes disconcerting, but never paralyzing. Today, their paths cross once again with an album entirely devoted to Dylan’s songs (retranslated by Francis).
