Details: "Tony Robinson is a god of history" —Eddie Izzard One of the UK’s most beloved performers, Tony Robinson has forged a career from making history humorous. He first shot to fame as the peasant simpleton Baldrick in the legendary comedy series Blackadder. Then came slightly more scholarly but highly entertaining efforts like the archaeology show Time Team and the documentary series The Worst Jobs in History. Using Baldrick—he of the "cunning plan"—as a reference point, Robinson careens through the story of his life and the course of history in a side-splitting one-man stage show. Packed full of hilarious tales, tender family stories, and amusing historical anecdotes championing the little guy, this smash hit performance sold out venues throughout the UK. It’s a riotous, rollicking, helter-skelter ride, from Robinson’s childhood debut as the Artful Dodger to Blackadder and beyond. DVD SPECIAL FEATURES: Q & A session with Tony Robinson, containing his favorite Blackadder moments and the possible future of the series, and "Any Old Iron" sing-along.
